FOSTERING AN ANIMAL IS TOTALLY FREE AND YOU TRULY ARE SAVING A LIFE!!
Volunteers are needed to provide foster care for homeless dogs and cats of all ages and breeds. Pet Project Rescue will cover vet care at approved vets, as well as food and supplies. Foster homes decide which dog/cat they bring into their homes, and will at no time be asked to take in an animal they are not comfortable fostering.
Foster Homes role includes:
1. Bringing your foster to vet appts as needed.
2. Meeting with prospective adopters once they are approved to adopt. (this can take place at your home, events, or Urbanimal.)
Approved application will be sent to the foster home to view and approve. Each dog will also have a home visit prior to adoption. Foster homes are welcome at visits.
3. Fostering your dog or cat until they find an adoptive home. (This can be anywhere from a week to a couple of months depending on the animal)
4. Submitting short updates to let people know how your foster is doing (posted on site by PPR)
