Upcoming Adoption EventsWe hold adoption events on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 12-2pm. There will be no event on New Year's Day; the next events are: 2/19, 3/4, and 3/18. Adoption events are held at the Uptown Urbanimal. Please email us if you cannot attend an adoption event and would like to set up an individual appointment (adoption application required for one on one appts). Pet Project Rescue does not accept checks; we take cash and Pay Pal for adoptions. Please plan accordingly for events if you plan to adopt. HappeningsTwin Cities Spay & Neuter Clinics: 2012 Schedule! Pet Project Rescue's, Pay What You Can Clinics, will provide spay/neuter and vaccines for over 400 animals in the Metro. These spay/neuter clinics will work to reduce the number of unwanted litters, and as a result reduce the number of animals euthanizes at local shelters. Together we can make our community a better place for all animals! Bully Breed S/N Clinics: 1/22 & 1/29. Dog clinics are for low-income owners of Bully Breeds that live in the Twin Cities (proof of financial need required). Spay/Neuter is pay what you can, $1 to $70...you pick the donation amount. Vaccines available for $10. Microchips available for $20. **Future 2012 Bully Breed clinics will be announced later for Spring and Summer dates** Community Cat S/N Clinics: 3/25, 4/29, 6/24, 7/29, 8/26, 9/30, & 10/28. Cat clinics are for free roaming cats in North, NE, & South Minneapolis. These clinics focus on reducing the number of feral and free roaming cats in our community. (**ALL cats must be free roaming in Minneapolis, without plans to adopt personally or to a third party). *Clinics are partially funded thanks to an ASPCA grant* Groupon Fundraiser: April 2012 (Exact date TBD). Groupon will be hosting a fundraiser for PPR's Bully breed spay/neuter clinics. Join Groupon today, and you will receive an email to donate $5 or more to our spay/neuter clinic for Bully breeds in MN. www.groupon.com The Lukas Project: PPR's hospice program is for dogs and cats of any age that are in MN shelters facing euthanasia, and have a terminal illness, such as advanced cancer, heartworm, or any other disease that cannot be treated. We want to give these animals love and comfort before they pass. We are in need of foster homes for these animals and sponsors for Lukas Project cats and dogs.
